This policy covers peij.fyi users and visitors to pages hosted on peij. Page owners are responsible for any data they collect through their own pages.
1. What we collect and why
- Account details (your email, name and subdomain): to sign you in and run your account. Kept while your account exists.
- Age check (your birthday): to confirm you are 18 or over. Deleted once the check is done.
- Pages you publish and their files: to serve your pages on the web. Published pages are public. Kept until you delete the page or your account.
- AI-supplied page details, including recreation prompts: to describe pages to you and, when you list a page in Page Book, to show its recreation prompt to visitors. Unlisted and draft prompts are not public, but connected AI tools with read access can receive page details. Kept with the associated page until you delete it or your account, or with a draft until you discard it or it expires and is cleaned up.
- Connected AI tools (the tool’s name, the permissions you approved, and when it last connected): to let your AI publish for you and let you disconnect it. Kept while connected. After you disconnect or delete your account, the record is kept as revoked, with no page content.
- Page activity (when a page was created, published or deleted, with its size and file count): to keep the service safe, count your quota and handle abuse reports. Minimal records, with no page content, are kept after deletion for abuse prevention and legal requests.
- Request logs (IP address, device info, the page or endpoint requested, and the result): to keep the service running and secure. Kept for a few days, the window our hosting provider keeps them.
- Page views (an aggregate count of page loads, recorded by page address and time without an IP address, device, referrer, cookie, or visitor ID): to show page owners how often their pages are opened. Kept for three months by our hosting provider. After you delete a page or your account, we stop showing its counts and the aggregate records expire under that retention period.
- Messages you send us: to reply to you. Kept as long as needed to help you.
Recreation prompts use limited checks for declared contact and secret patterns. These checks cannot detect every kind of sensitive information. Review a prompt before listing its page in Page Book.
We don’t ask for passwords, payment details or government IDs. We don’t sell your data, and we don’t use it for advertising.
2. Connected AI tools
When you connect an AI tool you approve what it can do: read your pages and account details, and create, publish and delete pages. The tool gets a token that works only for your account. We store the tool’s name, the permissions you approved and when it was last used. We don’t receive your conversation with the AI. We only see what the AI sends to peij: page files and page details. You can disconnect any tool in your dashboard and its token stops working right away.
3. Who we share it with
Service providers that run peij: hosting and storage (Cloudflare), sign-in and account records (Supabase), and the email service that sends your sign-in link. We share data with authorities when the law requires it, and with a buyer if peij is sold. Your published pages are public. A recreation prompt also becomes public when you list its page in Page Book. Your data may be stored outside your country.
4. Your choices
- Disconnect an AI tool, list or unlist a Page Book page, or delete a page in your dashboard. Unlisting a page stops showing its recreation prompt publicly; deleting the page removes its details with it.
- Delete your account in your dashboard. This takes your pages offline and revokes every connected tool.
- Ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, or withdraw your consent, by emailing privacy@peij.fyi. You can also complain to the data protection authority where you live.
5. Children
peij is for adults 18 and over. We delete accounts belonging to anyone under 18. Parents can contact privacy@peij.fyi.
6. Security and cookies
We protect your data with reasonable safeguards and will tell you about a breach as the law requires. We only use essential cookies, such as the ones that keep you signed in. Page-view counts are aggregate and cookie-free. We don’t use analytics or advertising cookies. Pages on user subdomains may set their own cookies.
7. Changes
We’ll post updates here and tell you about big changes before they take effect.
